Country singer Jana Kramer and former NFL player Mike Caussin opened up to “Extra’s” Billy Bush after their marriage made headlines this week.
The couple recently revealed on their “Whine Down” podcast that Jana found a topless photo of a woman in a deleted text message to Mike.
He insisted he didn’t know the woman, but she still feels betrayed.
On the podcast, she told him, “You deleted it, saying you were going to tell me about it, which is the part I do not buy.”
Mike has been open about his sex addiction and infidelity. They chose to stay together and share it all on “Whine Down.”
Jana, who is “Extra’s” Nashville Correspondent, and Mike joined Billy via FaceTime, and Bush asked if Kramer now believes her husband.
“I do believe that, because I know it was not an actual person,” she explained. “It was a bot, but I still do not believe he was going to tell me about it. I totally get why he would delete it and not tell me. I get that thought process 100%, it is just that the toll that the trauma takes… I don’t know how much I have left of that to cry out any more.”
Mike weighed in, saying, “This has probably been the most difficult thing to date… the most difficult to swallow. Last night, I couldn’t sleep because I’m tired of feeling like the bad guy and it is because of my shame.”
Billy asked if they feel the podcast has helped other couples. Mike replied, “With the live podcast that Jana and I do, and take on tour, that is probably the most impactful feedback. When we hear from men who say thank you to both of us or for opening up and enabling them to open up a little more than they would have in the past.”
